I updated the gallery with several more photos of Leo & the cast of “Shutter Island” at the Berlin International Film Festival on February 13, 2010.  I especially adore the photos of Leo with fans. Some girls got lucky enough to take a picture with our handsome Hollywood actor . And it also shows that he really cares about his fans, and just don’t like paparazzi following him wherever he goes! – Joey

“Shutter Island” Premiere Arrival & Photo Call in Berlin, Germany

Leonardo DiCaprio understands the struggle some Hollywood legends face when their career start to wane, insisting it’s easy for stars to become detached from reality.

The actor has been a mainstay of the movie industry since his critically acclaimed turn in “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape” at age 19.

He became one of Hollywood’s hottest leading men after starring in James Cameron’s hugely successful “Titanic,” and has proved a hit at the box office ever since.

But DiCaprio doesn’t take his popularity for granted, insisting he can see how stars become “nuts” after falling for their own hype.

He tells “Access Hollywood,” “Just because you’ve done a good performance once, doesn’t mean you’re always going to be good. That’s why some of the greatest actors in the world have gone a little bit nuts. They’re saying to themselves, ‘What happened? You used to love me?‘

“It’s an easy trap to fall into. You just have to realize that when you’re hot, you’re hot, and when you’re not, you’re not.“

He is such a sweetheart! I’m sure his German mom made sure that he remains down-to-earth and laid-back as he is . And that’s why fans love him so much. – Joey

Received an email from Anne Marie @ Parade.com about an article featuring Leo.

Leonardo DiCaprio and director Martin Scorsese have teamed up for the fourth time for the supernatural thriller Shutter Island. In the film, DiCaprio plays a U. S. Marshall whose search for an escaped murderer at a mental hospital plunges him into some terrifying mind games.

Parade.com’s Jeanne Wolf found out that when Scorsese calls, DiCaprio just can’t say no — even if he has to suffer for the role.
