The Insider recently caught up with Inception star Leonardo DiCaprio.Leo plays a loving father in his upcoming role as Cobb in ‘Inception,’ and shares with The Insider his thoughts and comments on Fatherhood.
“I think that’s something that is instinctively innate in all of us,” he says of channeling his paternal character. “Caring for children and the love that a father would have for their own kids is something you can automatically understand.”
MTV’s Josh Horowitz caught up with Leonardo DiCaprio to talk about his latest film Inception. You can view the rest of the article here.
“I always wanted to do a Viking movie,” he said. “I’m a big history buff, and I don’t think there’s been a really fantastic Viking movie ever made. Those were some of the most barbaric people ever in history.”
I would actually argue that there have been some pretty good Viking-oriented examples in entertainment. There’s the Monty Python “Spam” sketch of course, and the 2010 CG animated release “How To Train Your Dragon.” Also, Nicholas Winding Refn’s June release “Valhalla Rising,” which I’ve heard is quite good. Which doesn’t mean there isn’t room for one more. DiCaprio will get his chance soon enough, as he is tentatively set to star in the next directorial effort from Mel Gibson, an as-yet-untitled Viking movie.
“I’d love to see Mel Gibson’s version of that,” he said. “Because certainly with ‘Apocalypto’ and some of the other films he’s made, he’s been able to transport me back in time unlike very many filmmakers have been able to.”
Received this from a Moviefone representative:
Moviefone is looking for fans to submit questions for an upcoming episode of Unscripted for ‘Inception’ starring Leo and Ellen Page.
I was sent an email recently from a Forbes representative:

Leonardo DiCaprio was amazed when he finally saw his new movie ‘Inception’ because he had no idea what was going to happen in the film.
Leonardo DiCaprio has admitted he was surprised at the twists and turns in his new film ‘Inception’.
The actor plays Dom Cobb in the Christopher Nolan-directed blockbuster – the plot of which has been a closely-guarded secret – but admits he had no idea what happened in the film until he watched it.
He said: “I was in the movie and even when I watched it I didn’t know what was happening next.”
The 35-year-old star is still determined to keep the storyline under wraps as he feels it will heighten the cinematic experience for the audience.
He added: “Much of the appeal of this movie is going to be the surprise element and not knowing what to expect.
“I can’t wait for people to see it. I completely immersed myself in it so not talking about it in great detail before people see it is very refreshing.”
The movie co-stars Oscar-winning actress Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.
Here is a brand new look at Leo’s new movie Inception. Inception is in theaters July 16th,2010.
I’m interested to see if anyone is willing to help us with a new layout for the site? You are welcome to use any photo shoot images from our gallery or any you might have. I’m interested in a complete WP theme (graphics & coding) but if you can only create the graphic then I will try my best to work out the coding!

The movie website Deadline reports that “Leo will be directed in the epic FBI drama by Clint Eastwood who’s producing…“
Looks like our Leo never wants to catch a break, and I certainly won’t complain. He’s perfect for the role, and he once again can show what brilliant and dedicated actor he is. Go, Leo, go! – Joey
To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Titanic’s sinking, and to line James Cameron’s unendingly deep pockets with even more gold, Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio will be getting the royal 3D treatment.
Cameron, who has became one of the most outspoken figures in the world of 3D technology – after Avatar grossed more than $2.7 billion in theaters – will be directly involved with the 3D conversion. And he had better do it right. He has lambasted some of the recent 3D films for their less-than-lackluster 2D-3D conversions. A Hollywood.com article quoted Cameron as saying, “There are ways to do it well and there are ways to do it poorly, and I think we have seen examples of both; mostly the latter.”
Titanic was the world’s highest-grossing theatrical movie release for 12 years, until James Cameron broke his own record with last year’s release of Avatar. His reputation is on the line with this radical change to the 1997 blockbuster.
“We’re going to spend months and millions converting Titanic,” he said.
The real-life Titanic ship sank on April 15, 1912, so the 3D re-release of the movie will likely be timed around that date in 2012.
