Actress Amanda Seyfried told Access Hollywood the cast and crew on her new movie Red Riding Hood found themselves a little star-struck around the films producer, Leonardo DiCaprio. Seyfried said DiCaprio had a huge part when it came to casting.
“When [DiCaprio] came to visit there was a weird tension on set. Everybody was whispering, ‘He’s here! He’s here!’ You know, he’s like a godfather. He’s like De Niro to the younger generation of actors.”
“He was a big part of the casting process, which is good because his input is always wanted. He’s been working for a long time and he makes great choices.”
Inception ended up going home with four Oscars out of the eight they were nominated for. They ended up walking away with an Oscar for Cinematography,Sound Mixing,Sound Editing, and Visual Effects. At the beginning of the Academy Awards hosts James Franco and Anne Hathaway did a hilarious Inception themed opening, which you can watch below. Although Leo did not attend the award ceremony he did tweet about on his official Twitter page.
Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese are teaming up again for the fifth time. The 36-Year-Old actor and award winning Oscar director will film the best-selling book, The Wolf of Wall Street based on the autobiography of infamous businessman Jordan Belfort’s. Although, the movie has been in development for three years. Belfort recently reviled how excited he was to work with the duo. The film is set to be shot this summer as Leo playing Jordan Belfort , though no further details have been released yet.
I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled I am to finally be working with Leo and Marty on this. They’re the ultimate dream team, and it was definitely worth the wait.
Leo’s film Inception won 3 awards at tonight’s 2011British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Inception was a winner in Sound, Production Design, and Special Visual Effects. Also, Leo’s Inception co-star Tom Hardy won the BAFTA Rising Star Award. Congratulations to the Inception cast on their wins!
Leo was spotted yesterday (11th February) on the J.Edgar set. The actor was also spotted chatting with director Clint Eastwood as he got his make up touched up. Enjoy the photos!

Inception director Christopher Nolan received a tremendous tribute with the Modern Master Award at the Santa Barbra International Film Festival held on the 30th of January at the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara. Leo helped honor the Inception director. The evening celebrated Nolan’s work including “The Dark Knight,” “The Prestige,” and “Memento.” 14 HQ photos have been added to the gallery.
